Welcome, management of ticketing, reservations, guides and talks, tour assistance, cloakrooms, layout of spaces, etc.: The RMN ensures visitors receive a quality welcome at its member and partner museums.
Its board of trustees determines, with the establishments’ agreement, the admission fees charges and the policy of exemptions and reductions granted to some categories of visitors.
The RMN defines and implements reservation systems offered to groups (tourists, school pupils, etc.) and those wanting to follow the guided tours provided by national museum guides.
Since 1990, the RMN has been carrying out surveys of the visitors who come to national museums and exhibitions, so as to better understand their expectations.
For all exhibitions presented in the Grand Palais National Galleries, the RMN also provides:
- a reservation system enabling individual visitors to avoid queuing
- the Sésame pass giving free access without queuing to all exhibitions at the National Galleries for a year.
The RMN is also closely associated with management of the Paris Museum Pass, which enables tourists, for a set price for two, four or six days, to visit 60 museums and monuments in Paris and the Ile-de-France.
