Thirty-five establishments

The RMN is involved in the refurbishment of reception areas and ensures the management of services offered to the public (entrance, cloakrooms, guided tours, etc.), ticketing and reservations in most national museums and the exhibitions it organizes with them. Its board of trustees sets the admission fees charged for both and the policy of exemptions and reductions granted to some categories of visitors.

The RMN defines and implements reservation systems offered to groups (tourists, school pupils, etc.) and those wanting to follow the guided tours provided by National Museum guides.

For all exhibitions presented in the Grand Palais National Galleries, the RMN also provides:
- a reservation system for individual visitors enabling them to avoid queuing;
- the Sésame pass giving free access without queuing to an unlimited number of exhibitions for a year.

Since 1990, the RMN regularly has surveys conducted of the visitors who come to national museums and exhibitions.

The RMN is also closely associated with management of the Paris Museum Pass, which enables tourists, for a set price for two, four or six days, to visit 60 museums and monuments in Paris and the Ile-de-France region.
