Created in 1959 in the house where Georges Clemenceau was born, the museum draws a comparison between Georges Clemenceau and Jean de Lattre de Tassigny by comparing their destinies: Their birth in Mouilleron-en-Pareds; their respective roles in the two world wars; the fact that they signed on behalf of France at the “two victories” which put an end to the conflicts; the same recognition and the same homage from France: “Very worthy of their country”.
